We create and connect individuals and communities to inclusive spaces - for prayer, discussion and reflection - around the world, where everyone, of every gender, orientation and/or faith, is welcome.
Mixed congregational prayers
We hold mixed congregational prayers led by
any gender, Meccan style.
We support the institution of marriage, including interfaith marriage between Muslim women and non-Muslim men and/or same sex unions. We locate inclusive Muslim officiators for nikkahs.
We build multi-faith communities with shared goals and values and connect people from many schools of thought to promote harmony, peace and understanding.
We speak out to demand freedom for human rights defenders at home and abroad, like Saudi human rights defender and secularist, Raif Badawi, whose wife and three children live in Quebec.
We lead and/or support the entitlement of women to self-determination everywhere.
We march at Pride to show solidarity for our LGBTQI family and neighbours and demand LGBTQI rights everywhere - inside and outside Muslim communities and nations.
The Earth and Islam
We believe, as khilafat, all of humanity has a duty to treat animals with respect and care, and protect and preserve the earth now, for us and for future generations.
